About this place
For a drink in Togoshi Ginza, the Asahi High ochawari is an easy first choice. Mixed with matcha from Kyokushouen, a longstanding neighborhood tea merchant, this shochu cocktail draws strollers who stop by for a mega-sized mug to unwind.
To accompany drinks, the house suggests starting with the Edogoe Mori beef tendon platter. Combining 2 skewers each of Edo and Togoshi-style beef tendon alongside 2 piece of deeply simmered daikon radish oden, it offers just the right substance to kick off a round of beer or ochawari. The supporting roster of casual small plates includes toriwasa made from fresh morning-prepped chicken, the Saruya Stamina stir-fry inspired by local Togoshi Ginza comfort food, and Monkey Eggs seasoned to your preferred spice level.
At lunchtime, the kitchen serves another signature: wagyu beef tendon curry crowned with a fried egg. With counter seats, private rooms, and terrace seating, the unpretentious interior works equally well for dropping by solo or gathering with friends.
